TRYOUTS-Boys and Girls (Divs. 1 and 2)

Tryouts are for all new players either new to our league or new to a Division (moving up an age group). It is a time to get together and check out the skill level of each player. This evaluation will help us assign players to teams and to make things as fair as possible. Everyone will be assigned to a team. 

DRAFT NIGHT- COACHES ONLY

We will have our draft  at Hyre Middle School. Schedule as follows.


                                                        Girls 6:00-6:30

                                                   Boys Div 1  - 6:30-7:00

                                                    Boys Div 2- 7:00-7:30 


This is for coaches only to put their teams together. (no  players allowed)

INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE

Instructional League (ages 7-8) will be held on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm starting January and run for 8 weeks. We will be introducing the basics of the game as well as some of the skills used to play. 

About Us

 Ellet Youth Basketball has been in existence since 1987 providing the youth of Ellet with the opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball.  This league provides instruction and competitive play for kids from the ages 7-14 both girls as well as boys. We have practices and games on Mondays-Thursday. No weekends. We have a close working relationship with both Hyre Middle School and Ellet High School in providing facilities as well as training for both coaches and kids. We know that this relationship will pay off for our community and our school teams to be competitive now and in the future.
